Postcard from the Past – Churchill

Churchill’s Polar Bears

Some travel memories stay sharp no matter how many years go by; our trip to Churchill, Manitoba, is one of those unforgettable moments. Known as the Polar Bear Capital of the World, Churchill offered us a front-row seat to one of nature’s most powerful and awe-inspiring creatures.

This wasn’t your typical wildlife tour. Bundled up against the tundra winds, we boarded a specialized tundra buggy and rolled out across the vast, frozen landscape, eyes scanning the horizon. And then, there they were. Majestic. Curious. Wild.

This Postcard from the Past takes us back to that cold, magical place where polar bears roam, the northern lights dance, and the raw beauty of the subarctic lingers long after the trip ends.

From Maps to Moments

Adventures recorded, memories mapped.

This is our digital logbook—where trails, towns, and turnarounds become stories. From cartography to campgrounds, we’re tracing the journey one photo and one post at a time.

Whether it’s meandering along a backroad in Saskatchewan or walking a trail through the the Scottish Highlands, every stop tells a story. Thanks for being here while we write them.
